My literacy Blog post

We have been working on retell and it has been really fun because I was doing Hunt for the Wilder People. I think I did good on this task but it was short but still I am proud of myself. I think this task was cool and it had some cool sentences but now I am still wanting for feed back or for it to get green. My plan was not my best but I still finished my Hunt for the Wilder People story. It took a long time for the plan to get finished but at the end I still fished it. This story is funny because the it is hunt for the wilder people.

Hunt For The Wilder People

There’s a lot of dead things around here I now. Because I saw a dead sheep and there was lot’s of maggots in there. Here’s my story about magnets. Here we go there    were   lot’s   of    magets    that    were    crawling   around  the   sheep    that’s my story about my magets. Soon it will be my time to go to the top of the hill. Wa wa wa what happen uncle she died what nooooooooo. How are we going to survive with out her.

You know Sometimes in life there's no way out a sheep trap designed by wolves. But you know if you're in this situation There's always  2 doors in life The frist door in life is all the yummiest treats you can think like drotos, fanta, burger rings,  fish and chips and coke zero. But... there's another door in life any one who wants to guess…. Vegetables no no no not

Vegetables. Anyone else who what to guess Jesus no but I thought it was jesus but there's another door in life jesus yes jesus his tricky like that. Please take it away mam (music Playing)   

Maths Blog Post

So we have be doing 5 x tables on a game called Tables Master. It was so we could get faster at our 5 x. I was trying my hardest because I want to get faster than I was because I was not as fast. But now I am much faster because of the stage 5 practising it often. A little bit of practise makes perfect. I like doing times tables on paper because I'm faster than a laptop. Just before lunch Mrs Love said that I did very well so now I think I am getting much better at maths.

P.E Blog Post

So we have be doing P.E. The sports we did were sprinting, jumping and throwing. My personal favourite P.E station was spiriting because I love running.

The learning muscle I used was persevere. When I was doing the spiriting, I pulled my muscle a litle but I still tried my hardest.  I learnt to finish by still sprinting until another 5 metres past the finish line.

Art Blog

This is my art. This was really fun because it was challenging. I am really proud of this because this is one of my best arts I have done. This was one of the most challenging art I have done in a long time.
My favorite piece of art was the drink bottle because it took the longest and it was the funnest.
The main thing was to sketch and shade. For the drink bottle I really took my time for the shading
and the 3d effect.

Wow a new calendar only $10.  That is amazing deal I say. And if you buy one you get one free great deal. If you want the calendar buy the calendar because you will love it. Did you want a bright and cold colour art? I do and I hope you do as well. If you want a nice calendar then buy these calendars and it's nice and easy to put on the wall or the fridge or the pantry.

COLOUR POEM

This is my colour poem and I like this task because I did it with Miss Hill. I think I did good in this task but I did need help.      

 Green is the Colour of

• The green grass was seaving on the football pitch.
• The green paint splashes on the ground.
• The green Lamborghini racing down the streets.
• The green boogers dripping down the face.
• The green slithery snake going for the bush.

   black is the Colour

• Black Is the colour of thunder going for buildings.
• Black is the colour of sarpy paint splashing on the wood.
• Black is the colour of a ball flying for the sky.
• Black is the colour of a car getting crushed by a truck.
• Black is the colour of a house getting moved.

Learning task

You will need:

-you need 7 players to play

-one goalkeeper, 6 field players

-coin toss

-2 teams

-red cards and yellow cards

-ball

-court

-goals

-you need a 40m cornt

METHOD:

1. First get on the court. then have the coin toss and try and pass the ball.
2. Try and score a goal, block the ball, keep on defending and don’t let them score.  

          The keeper will still stop the ball from coming past the line.

3. Then in the second half do the same thing, keep defending and scoring. You might earn a gold medal.
4. Never give up when you have the ball and score and when you score, have a celebration  dance.

This is my plan task I tried my hardest in task. This was a fun task to me. I got some help from Brayden and that help was helpful to me. The first time I got a bit confused at the start but Mrs Love
came and help.

This is my notes task. I did it with Brayden. I tried my hardest in this task. I used my notes skills and put the main idea in it. I had to do lots of reading to get all of my information. I will use it for my writing and my project.
      

Blog post

Mum said grandad and grandma were coming back from Australia so in my mind I said I might be getting ankle boots! Friday was the day we were going to pick up my grandad and grandma. I was so happy that this was going to happen at 5.30. Now it's 5.15. Mum says we should go now.
"Ya ya" in my head.
Now we are there. Mum said "Grandad and grandma are coming back in 3 mins."

It's been 3 mins but mum says they will be back in 15 mins.
"Ok." I said.

NOW THEY ARE HERE. YA YA!!

They say "my boots are not in my size" in a whisper. But we got back there and my BOOTS WERE THERE! OH MY GOSH!
I take the boots out excitedly.  "Thank you so much, oh my GOSH."
I put them on. They are so cool. Then my family come over. Then I put my boots on like it's a fashion show.  Then my bro says "Those boots are swag".
My dad says "You are very lucky son."
I knew that I was.

This is my passion project and I am happy and not happy at the same time. The happy reason is because I used my absorption muscles. And the not happy reason is because I didn't finish it. I got my notes done for some paragraphs.

Persuade, Entertain or Inform?

I am learning to communicate my ideas effectively to the reader.

You choose the topic and you choose the writing purpose. This needs to be your best independent writing for assessment. Below is the success criteria for quality writing. Use this criteria and go for it!

Success Criteria (Sentence formation has been our main focus)
Content & Ideas	Include a range of ideas with clear details.
Sentence Formation	Include simple, compound and complex sentences Start most of my sentences with different words
Vocabulary	Choose words and language features to meet my purpose.
Structure	Clear beginning, middle and end with paragraphs.
Spelling	My best spelling with good attempts at words I don’t know.
Punctuation	Use all basic punctuation (capital letters, full stops, question marks and exclamation marks) correctly and attempt some complex punctuation.

THE ABANDONED SCHOOL

Me, Cam, Amos,Rory and Brayden  planned to go to a ABANDONED school it was very scary that we were going. At parkvale we planned it there so I said have a torch,wenpen,bag and black clothes. We get our black bikes and ride off to the abandoned school we were very nervous. So we arrived at the HUGE SCHOOL.

It was so big like movie world  I was like what the heck am I doing.

So we got in there so much glass that every foot step we did there was gikling. Everyone went to room 5 and they said this room is very casual because the radio was going so we were listening to the beats in room 5.

We got in the office it was very very creepy because the  lights was itching  so we got out of that room quick what I mean is very quick. We font there was a ghost was behind us but it was the cold air. Then we moved to room 21

Oh my gosh there is a horse in here. We better run for

Our life guys the HORSE is going to KILL us oh no.

Here goes the horse again and it has stop chasing

us so that was great and now we don’t have to

Worry about the horse. Now we got to the toilets

It sitck like poo. at the last toilets I saw a GHOST

Oh no then I turned around and no one was there they must of

dich me  so I ran aroud the whole school and I didn’t find them.

And now I have to go in the rooms in head why did we plan this

This was the stupidist idea I have in my life.  I went to room 1 and they were in there and I said to them why did you ditch me because it was going to be funny. Then I said no it wasn’t funny guys now we have to go back the toiltes they say ooook lets go boys then we get there we where sared for our lifes then we when to the the LAST TOILTES oh no run for your lifes. In my head I said there

Was there was no ghost so went back there we got at the last toilte now guys get ready to run nope we don’t have to run now.

That was the end of the toiltes said”  brayden. Cameron said I won’t food ok I said then we see the horse again all of as say the hores is still here no we  think we will leave the

School now so lets ran for our lifes buddys. We got out of the school but I trope my wolite

So I said we have to get it Amos says not nowww and I said yes now and I see I right beside the fece so I pick it up now lets go home boys. We got back home And… The door was opneing

And closing So I went to Amos house And the same thing was happing to him now I went back to my house And went to sleep and no bad derams.

THE END!!!

I am proud of this because I tried my hardest and my best. This is one of my favourite writing tasks I have done this year so far. I think I did my best in this free choice writing task.

MY READING TASK

This is my reading task I think I did my best. I was trying to take notes well. I did my best because I showed pride and tried my hardest. This is one of my favourote reading tasks I have done in rimu hub.

Learning is tricky

This is a piece of writing I did with Mrs Hill. We had to be very mean to ourselves (critical) and honest about what we needed to work on in our learning. It was hard but good.

Learning is tricky when I get into my divisions. I am feeling very frustrated because it is my reading of problems. I always want to give up when learning gets hard.  It is very hard to focus when people are shouting over

the room. When learning gets tricky I always go to my learning buddy

to get help but if they can’t help I always talk to my friends.

My learning muscles that I need to use are ok because I think I

can change them. I think I could be aware what I am doing and

try my hardest not to get distracted. I need to stop saying I need help because I need to try my hardest.
When I am managing my distractions you will see me focus and try my hardest. When I get in trouble I try and stop it.

I think I did really good because I did my best and did mistakes but I learnt 

from it so that was good. We did it with Miss hill and that is different because

you guys do writing with Mr M, Mrs Carr and Mrs Love. With Miss Hill it is very fun because we do fun writing and do projects.

Napier City Rovers, Ball boy.

When I arrived at the Napier City Rovers stadium, I was really exited because I was going to be a ball boy. But first we had a training with the Napier City Rovers and I got some good skills so I am going to use those skills in my games. Then we had a big look around the stadium- it was really cool. Then we saw all the players in the team. Some people got their signatures and they loved it. Then the game started. Some of the people were  ball boys in the first half and some of the people were in the second half of the game. 

So the second half had began so I went on the pitch to my side. Then the game started. It was not really fun because I was't getting the ball so I was just standing the most of the time. Then I finally get the ball and that was it! No more balls coming back to me. Then Mrs Love came and took a photo of me and in my mind I was like "please no balls come at this time." and that was the of the game. We won 4-1 and that was a great day

I think that I did very well on this task because I thought I did my parkvale pride. I did my tree diagram we had to do 4 different combinations just to suit the task.




The reason that I am blogging this bescause I think I did very good on this maths task. I think I did the best out of all my maths task.

My Blog post 2016

Hi my name is Oscar W and I am a Rimu student in Parkvale School. I really enjoy Parkvale School because of my fun class room. I am in room 21. I have a very good learning buddy and his name is Mitchell. He is a helpful buddy and that is good. My teacher is Mrs Love and she is very nice and helpful. Last year I think I did good and this year I am even better. My thing is... football because I just love it and the thing about is that it is the most played sport in the world. This is my first blog post and I will be making more about more stuff through out the year.
This hub is the best hub for me because there are very helpful people in this hub and that is great because I need help on a lot of things. My favourite thing in this hub is our learning tasks because they are interesting and fun.
I am looking forward to a great year!
